As well as giving you space to talk about your past and present experiences, I may also invite you to use some of the techniques and tools below:
🌿slowing down and using the senses to notice the external environment
🌿inviting in breathwork, mindfulness and movement practices
🌿somatic sensing (i.e. what sensations do you notice in your body?)
🌿working with story and image cards
🌿finding images and metaphors in the natural environment to express and explore your lived experiences
🌿creating artwork - using objects, art/craft materials - to deepen your exploration
🌿developing simple rituals to mark or celebrate transitions and other processes
You don’t need any experience of working in this way. It’s important for me that you always feel honoured, respected and in control. So if something doesn’t work for you, that’s OK. We move on and find something that does.

I offer 60 minute, 90 minute and 2 hour sessions. These cost:
60 minutes – £80
90 minutes – £115
2-hour “Emotional MOT” – £150 (a one-off extended session for a full reset, reflection or introduction to this work)
Longer sessions allow time for the nervous system to settle and for deeper exploration to unfold, supporting not just short-term relief but lasting change. Please contact me to discuss what would best meet your needs.

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring waterproof and warm clothing if it is raining or in winter. In the summer please bring sun protection and be be prepared for sudden weather changes.
Therapy outdoors still happens if it is raining. If the rain is torrential or it is windy enough to be dangerous, I will let you know as soon as possible and offer you an online session.
I have completed a risk assessment for the venue and the activities. Please let me know if you would like to see a copy.

To be creative is to bring something of ourselves into what we do with energy and excitement: planning projects, making things with our hands, designing rooms/gardens/parties, communicating, exploring and using new technologies, etc.
So I expect you really are creative without realising it.

No, not at all. My work is collaborative and it is really important to me that you feel comfortable in the therapy space, I will explain everything to you as we go and my invitations to try certain activities are just that - invitations. It is absolutely OK to ask questions or decide you don’t want to try something. We just move on - no judgements or pushiness.
