Therapy Services

Is this you?

This work might be right for you if:

  • you feel caught between opposing needs, roles or identities

  • you feel on edge and anxious or shut down and numb

  • you find the speed and demands of modern life overwhelming

  • you feel disconnected from your body, emotions or intuition

  • you struggle to make up your mind or constantly wonder if you’ve made the right choice

  • you might appear to function well on the outside, but inside you feel conflicted, exhausted or lost.

Many of my clients know that they feel better when they’re in nature. Many have tried talking therapy but haven’t yet felt the changes they’re looking for. Many have the sense that the answers may lie in their body. If you’re intrigued or wondering whether this if for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

What you may be longing for:

  • A sense of wholeness, confidence and agency

  • Relief from your emotional turmoil, busy thoughts and doubts

  • To feel more at home and comfortable in your own skin and in the world

  • To be able to trust yourself more, speak up for your needs and respect your inner voice

We all hold the potential for change, healing and growth. Sometimes we need a compassionate guide to walk alongside us as we explore what’s troubling us, reconnect with our inner wisdom and find our way towards self-trust and belonging.

How I Can Help

The patterns of thinking, feeling and acting you struggle with are intelligent survival strategies shaped by your lived experience. Inner conflict often arises when parts of you continue to protect you against a perceived threat or danger, even when it’s no longer present.

My approach is slow, embodied and trauma-informed. It listens to your body, honours your pace and supports your nervous system to find more safety, choice, and integration.

Through this work, you may:

  • Develop greater self-understanding and self-trust

  • Give voice to parts of yourself that have been overlooked

  • Make choices that feel more aligned with who you are

As an embodied arts therapist, I draw on metaphor, movement, mindfulness and creative practices to support this process. These approaches offer space for insight, release and meaningful change. The work is collaborative and holistic - bringing together your body, heart and mind - so that you can step out of your head and into a more embodied, authentic way of living.

"I went to see Lucinda for just 5 sessions after a series of extremely stressful events had left me feeling panicky and anxious. I felt stuck in a loop, unable to make objective decisions. Her calm approach and ability to make me look at the person I really am has opened my mind to a different way of thinking and encouraged me to push my boundaries. Working outdoors was different and special; it took me back to my childhood and reminded me of how restful and restorative nature can be."
